Ongoing Fundraising - to support the making of Equivalence: Parallel Lansdscapes of western US

A selection of photographs, made with and without cameras (film photographs, photograms, & lumen prints)
As some of you may know, I attempted to do an indie gogo campaign in May and as luck would have it, managed to come down with a really bad (3 1/2 week long) case of covid a few days after the launch, which cost me half of the duration of my campaign. Despite my best efforts, I was unable pick up enough on traffic before the campaign ended.
While yes, I could make another attempt at crowdfunding, frankly, I don't have the headspace or the time to commit to promoting it properly right now; however, I am deeply inspired to make the dual bodies of photographic landscape work (both with and without cameras) that will compose Equivalence, so for now...
I'm keeping the perks/rewards as they were and am currently fundraising (on an ongoing basis) for the making of the current (more bare bones) version of the work, to at least get things started (ideally covering the first $5-10K).
Discounts on these particular print offerings are only available in the context of the campaign (and on a case-by-case basis outside of it).
Your contributions will make it possible to:
- Purchase a decent supply of film/paper/printing materials and a larger quantity of hours at the rental darkroom, in prepartion of the work I will be making for Equivalence (while paying $35/hr to print).
I will be doing (4x5 infrared) film and camera/lens tests (via a gifted Graflex Crown Graphic), as well as making new western Haunted landscape photographs and San Diego Winds of Change photograms, in the rental darkroom, in advance of my pending travels. (These images will be loosly paired if need be but are essentially research for the work that I will need to travel across the country to begin making.)
- Begin traveling to the first locations (starting with New Mexico, California, and/or Colorado)/making film photographs and collecting/shipping photograms materials, followed by making the first film and photogram pairings, of Equivalence, in the rental darkroom.
*Post-travel printing costs will be addressed more specifically, as the funding begins to come in, as I'd like to avoid the most bare bones version if possible...
